What is the reason for the oil trap phenomenon in the press equipment?

When the machine is trapped in oil, the manufacturer cannot underestimate it, because the trapped oil will cause pressure shock and cavitation problems in the press, which will affect the normal use of the machine.So how should the phenomenon of oil trapping be solved?Please see below.

1. Oil trap occurs in the gear pump

The enclosed space of the machine becomes smaller, which will cause the trapped oil to be squeezed and the internal pressure will increase, and it will be squeezed out of the gap, which will eventually cause the oil to heat up, causing the enclosed space to become larger, and the dissolved part of the gas in the oil will be separated, resulting in the phenomenon of cavitation.

Solution: Two unloading tanks can be opened at both ends of the pump to reduce the enclosed space, so that the unloading tank is connected to the high-pressure chamber, and the trapped oil can be discharged to the pressure oil chamber.

2. Oil trap occurs in the vane pump

In a vane pump, since the angle between the arcs is greater than the angle between the two blades, although there is a closed space between the suction and pressure windows, this space will not change, so the phenomenon of oil trapping will not occur, but because the arc part and the center angle are usually not very accurate, a slight oil discharge phenomenon will occur.

Solution: Open a triangular groove in the oil pressure window of the oil distribution pan, which can reduce the pressure change in the oil chamber, thereby solving the problem of oil trapping.

3. Oil trap occurs in the gear pump

When the gear pump is in the process of occlusal, in order to ensure that the gear pump can operate smoothly and continuously absorb and press oil, the degree of coincidence of the gears should be greater than one. Simply put, just before the first pair of gears ends the occlusal, the next pair of gears has already begun to bite, so that when the two pairs of gears bite at the same time, a closed space is formed. This space is sometimes large and sometimes small as the gears run, which causes the phenomenon of oil trap.

Solution: Open the unloading tank on the front and rear covers of the pump to make the space limit very small.

Because the press uses hydraulic oil as the medium for work, the pump of the press often experiences oil trapped phenomenon.The reason for its appearance is: there is a closed volume between the oil absorption and the oil chamber, and the size of the volume changes.In order to ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic pump of the press, the suction and oil pressure chambers of the pump must be reliably separated, and the closed working volume of the pump must be transferred to the oil pressure when the oil absorption is terminated. When the closed working volume neither communicates with the oil suction chamber nor meets the oil pressure chamber, the oil sealing volume is formed; if the size of the oil sealing volume changes, the hydraulic oil enclosed in the volume is squeezed or expanded, and local high pressure or holes are generated in the oil sealing volume, so the oil-due phenomenon occurs.
